Since a young age, we have both had a passion for art, design and practical crafts. After both studying art in higher education, we went on to have different careers, finally coming back together after finding a love of picture framing.

We began Wray & Co in October 2024, working between a garage and a garden shed. In early 2025, we moved into our new workshop, based in Sandbach Town Centre. Since then we have framed hundreds of pieces of art for the people of Sandbach and beyond. We are always excited by a challenge and have a passion for creating one of a kind, truly bespoke frames!

Alice’s flair for bright, bold colours lends itself well to bright and colourful artwork. She is meticulous with the details, obsessed with colours and is always trying to sneak some pink in!

Emily’s hero is the designer William Morris and loves all things heritage. She’s happiest working with traditional artworks in classical settings. She will likely suggest you go with a green mountboard…

Norbert is the head of customer relations. He enjoys keeping Alice & Emily in check, finding the comfiest places to sit and ensuring the heating is always on. Will likely be found under a blanket!

Sustainability is incredibly important to us here at Wray & Co. We recognise the importance of reducing our waste, reusing where we can and minimising our impact on the planet.

Whenever we can, we will reuse the packaging sent to us from our supplier deliveries for wrapping up your finished pieces.

Our suppliers are also focused on reducing their carbon footprint and manufacture a selection of Forest Stewardship Council certified mouldings and board products. Our polymer frames are made from 80% to 95% recycled polystyrene using a clean and waste free manufacturing process using solar and hydroelectric energy.
